Well it looks like we will be doing a lot of SMARTBoard training this summer. We have received word that Norwich and Sherburne Earlville Schools have purchased some new SMARTBoards for their classrooms. We also understand that there are staff members in Bainbridge Guilford and Sidney Schools who will be in need of training as well as some of our own staff here at BOCES.
Now that we have a certified Master SMARTBoard Trainer on staff, we are ready and able to provide the training that is needed. Our strategy at this point is to offer some basic training during the summer and then offer some follow-up training in the fall that is focused more on different curriculum areas. More information, including dates, locations and times will be published in the BOCES Staff Development Catalog which will be distributed in May.
Districts may call and request on-site SMARTBoard training as well, just contact BOCES Instructional Support Services.
